Time travel back to 1999 courtesy of this magnificently clean Yamaha R1! Presented in the best colours, this competition white R1 has done just 59 miles since its last service & MOT and has been with the same keeper for 4 years. The 2nd to last owner is one of our mechanics and they had the bike for nearly 10 years. This is a proper old school sportsbike with no electronic fandangles, no nanny assists and no fuel injection. They don’t make them like this anymore and it requires real skill to ride to its fullest potential. For a fullbore litre bike this is a surprisingly comfortable place to be and the 18L fuel tank offer good range for trips and long days in the saddle. The reserve tap offers 4L so if you push too far there’s a backup to get you to the next watering hole. The screaming four cylinder engine revs all the way to 11,800RPM but this R1 has already hit Mach 10 long before then. Revel in the razor sharp handling, beautifully smooth throttle and gorgeous aesthetic that still looks incredible 27 years later. The bike is in excellent condition overall though some small marks are present on the bike as can be expected from a machine of this age and mileage.
